Alexey Akimov is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting & Finance. He joined Lancaster in 2012 following the completion of his PhD from the University of Reading. His research covers topics related to the interest rate risk exposure of listed real estate firms. Other research interests include property market forecasting and commonalities in asset cycles. Dr. Akimov’s research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Regional Studies and Urban Studies.
