Research overview

I'm currently a PhD student in the Ulta-Low Temperature Physics group, having done my undergraduate at Lancaster University as well.

My current research includes probing quantum fluids such as He3 and He4 using Nanomechanical resonators (NEMS), allowing us to measure the properties of superfluids on shorter length scales than ever before. This is giving us insight into the process of quantum vortex creation at the smallest scales close to absolute zero.
