Carmine Pizzo is a PhD Student in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). His research focuses on disclosure and information verification, with an emphasis on private firms’ information environment. 

In 2023, Carmine was a visiting scholar at Columbia Business School. Prior to joining the programme, he received a Bachelor in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University, and a Master in Accounting and Finance (with distinction) from Imperial College.
