I am plant ecophysiologist interested in plant response to different environment conditions, mainly drought and shade. During my PhD I focused in flexibility/plasticity of sugarcane under shading, including studies with infrared gas analyser associated with chlorophyll fluorescence and in vitro enzymatic assays (C3 and C4 photosynthetic enzymes) in sugarcane plants. Now I am a post-doctoral research associate at the Lancaster Environment Centre developing research focused on improving photosynthetic efficiency to increase wheat yield.
2016-Now: Post-doctoral research associate at Lancaster Environment Centre
2012-2015: PhD at Agronomic Institute (Campinas-SP, Brazil)
