My research is based in the area of literature and religion, focusing on the remnants of biblical references which are scattered throughout fiction and popular culture. My main focus will be with the modern writer Graham Greene; particlaurly with how his Catholism is a playground for whisky priests and moral ambivilence. Many aspects of the Catholic tradition have become a playground of gothic and supernatural representation in the epistemological turn of monks, priests, incantations, exorcisms and salvation. 

I am currently teaching on the ENGL 100 course.
