Profile

Emrah Karakilic holds a PhD in sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London (2016). He is the book review editor of Organization and co-editor of MayFly Books

Research Interests

Dr Emrah Karakilic’s research spans the intersections of critical organisation studies, heterodox political economy, and sociological theory. His work interrogates the evolving nature of capitalism, the politics of production, and the relationship between human subjectivity and socio-economic structures. Dr Karakilic is particularly interested in the implications of technological advancements for contemporary organisations and work dynamics. His research also examines the transformative effects of artificial intelligence (AI) on professions and the restructuring of work in organisational contexts.
