Research overview

I'm a PhD candidate and an Associate Lecturer at Lancaster University. My research explores how migrants understand and navigate their social location and political engagement in the UK, with a focus on the experiences of Hongkongers. I’m particularly interested in the migration-citizenship nexus, migrant political participation, and the role of community organizations in shaping these processes. Through this research, I aim to contribute to sociological discussions on belonging and representation, while also generating insights that inform public policy and community advocacy.
