Fiona is a student on the PhD in Higher Education: Research, Evaluation and Enhancement. Fiona's doctoral research is an exploration of trans* (transgender and gender diverse) student experiences in universities in the Republic of Ireland. This research aims to provide insight not only into adverse experiences for trans* students and what they advocate for improvement, but also to identify what policies, practices and approaches may already be contributing to equitable and inclusive experiences for trans* students.
