Gabriel graduated in Business Administration from Universidade Federal de Lavras (2008). In 2010, he completed his master's degree in Business Administration from the Federal University of Lavras, developing studies to measure the impact of merger and acquisition strategies on the stock market of organizations in the Brazilian banking sector. In 2015, he obtained a PhD in Management from the Federal University of Lavras (2015), developing forecasting models (discriminant analysis, logistic regression and artificial neural networks) for mergers and acquisitions in Brazilian banking institutions. He is a professor at the Federal University of Alfenas - Minas Gerais - Brazil.
I am currently Visitor research at the Center for Marketing Analytics and Forecasting at Lancaster University, developing studies in High street markets and retails.
The areas of interest are related to statistical modeling of business and public administration, specifically, studies related to time series, optimization of processes and forecasting.
