Research overview

I am a visiting PhD student (Commonwealth Split-Site PhD Scholar) focused on exploring the global potential of agrivoltaics through geospatial modeling. I am currently pursuing my PhD at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Previously, I had the opportunity to conduct research as a visiting PhD student at Imperial College London under the Global Development Hub Fellowship.

My research interests include techno-economic modeling, optimization, PV energy modeling, climate change, and renewable energy in general.

In my previous work, I developed a techno-economic model to assess the economic viability of agrivoltaics compared to traditional ground-mounted PV systems. Additionally, I worked on a MATLAB-based agrivoltaics model to evaluate food and energy yields across various locations and crop types.
