I am a first year PhD student at the department of Linguistics and English Language.

Research Interests

My research broadly explores political discourses on the media from viewpoints of Cognitive Linguistics and Critical Discourse Analysis. More specifically, I study discourses of migration and civil disorder with Cognitive-Linguistic Critical Discourse Analysis (CL-CDA) approach. My PhD project looks at immigration discourse on the television news with multimodal CL-CDA approach.
