Research overview

I am an EPSRC-funded PhD student investigating how psychological interventions influence misinformation detection and self-efficacy among older and younger adults. I aim to identify effective strategies that enhance people’s ability to navigate misinformation and engage confidently and safely with developing digital technologies.

Qualifications

In July 2024, I graduated with a First Class Honours BSc Psychology degree.  My undergraduate dissertation focused on the role of social media appeals in missing persons investigations. I also completed a study abroad year at Griffith University in Australia, achieving a high GPA of 6.25.
