Ibrahim Orekoya is a Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy, Lancaster University Management School, Lancaster University, United Kingdom. He holds a B.Sc. degree (First Class Honours) in Business Administration from Babcock University and an M.Sc. degree in Management from the University of Lagos. Prior to joining Lancaster University Management School, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria. Ibrahim is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Ibrahim has presented his research at reputable conferences, namely: the Annual British Academy of Management conference (BAM), the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE) and the 2nd and 3rd Edition of a Joint PhD workshop organised by Lancaster University Management School (LUMS), United Kingdom; Toulouse School of Management (TSM) France; and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany. As part of the engagement with the research community, he serves as a reviewer for internationally leading conferences in Business and Management, notably the Academy of Management (AOM), European Academy of Management (EURAM), British Academy of Management (BAM) and journals namely Journal of Organizational Effectiveness: People and Performance, Leadership & Organization Development Journal and PLoS One.
