Having recently been awarded a PhD on the subject of the global in contemporary culture (entitled 'Concepts of the Global in Contemporary Culture: Figuring the Totality'), I have now moved on to beginning two different projects. The first is a book-length study on the idea of the multitude and the waning of democracy in contemporary fiction and culture. The second, which will also probably, ultimately end up being a book, is a study of philosophies of writing in the era of the digital.
