PhD supervision

I am interested in supervising doctoral students undertaking qualitative research in the following areas: the ‘greening’ of organisations and managerial responses to environmental sustainability issues; the processes and practices of delivering strategic change; and organisational knowledge and learning. I am particularly interested in research that takes practice-based and discourse approaches to these topic areas, such as that of ‘strategy-as practice’, and also in recent developments in institutional theory that highlight the ‘institutional work’ of organisational actors.
