Research overview

I am primarily interested in accessing efficiency in Higher Education Institutions(HEI) in England. The research methods in use are Data envelopment analysis (DEA) and Stochastic frontier analysis (SFA) as well as any possible extension of these methods. My research topic at the moment is oriented in accessing the possible effects of mergers on efficiency levels of HEI in England. However the higher education sector concentrates much more interest around the associations among universities, society and industry, consequently my next research question is associated with the effects of Third Mission Activities on the efficiency levels
