My past research has been concerned with conceptualisations of society and citizenship, and the poor fit between political ideology and human social cognition.

My ongoing research interests are focused on Darwinian perspectives of human sociality and extend to the explicans of universal Darwinism. More specifically, I am interested in the dynamic between social cooperation and crime in the context of societal pluralisms.
