My research focuses on the way organisations are able to create strategies in dynamic environments. I am interested in the way office spaces affect the strategy making process. At the heart of this research is the possibility that the configuration of our offices might act as a brake on organisation change.
I have returned to University life after a career in business, having held executive roles in two multinationals, as Managing Director of my own firm, and as a senior Strategy Consultant. My experience in business has given me first-hand knowledge of corporate and business unit strategy making in action that has a broad international scope and includes the management of mergers and acquisitions.
