Research overview

My current research on the Scunthorpe Development and Deployment project focusses on the sampling of fugitive particulate emissions at industrial sites, using a novel Directional Passive Air Sampler (DPAS). The DPAS is being developed as a joint venture between the Environment Agency and Lancaster University. The project focuses on: 1) The application of the DPAS samplers in complex multisource situations and 2) Studying and enhancing the DPAS Sampler performance. Due to the nature of this project it relies on a strong collaboration between researchers, regulators and industrial partners.
