Research overview

My research focusses on the area of atmospheric chemistry and composition modelling and the feedbacks between the atmosphere and the biosphere. My current research is part of the wider Air Quality impacts on Human Health in Beijing (APHH-Beijing) project and focusses on the dominant processes and species which contribute to haze pollution in the city of Beijing in China. Prior to this I worked on the NUTCAT-2050 project which investigated the impacts of climate and land use change on hydrology-phosphorus interactions in the year 2050. I also have an interest in modelling the impacts of tropospheric ozone damage on vegetation and the feedbacks this can have on atmospheric composition.
