Nasser Almutlaq

Nasser Almutlaq was born and grew up in Arar City, Saudi Arabia. He studied Physics at Qassim University, a branch of The King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, from 2003 to 2005. During 2006-2009, he undertook a Master's degree at Western Illinois University (Macomb, IL) in The United States. After earning his Master's degree, he worked at the Northern Border University, a Saudi governmental institute in Arar City, for two years. Now, he is currently a member of the research group of Professor Colin Lambert at Lancaster University where he got his PhD degree.

 

 

Research overview

Research Interest:

  1. Molecular Dynamics and Transport properties of Nanomaterials.

  2. Density functional theory and non-equilibrium Greens functions.

  3. Formation of fullerenes and applications of fullerenes via conductivity.
