Alienese Translation: Anthony Burgess's Nadsat in A Clockwork Orange

Research overview

My research is related to dystopian languages in translation. It investigates A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, the stylistic devices, figurative language, literary content in comparison with the translated text. My research explores Nadsat; the richness of this invented language and the effects, it has on the readers in the ST and TT.
