Research overview

Dr Qihai Huang is Reader in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Innovation at Lancaster University Management School. His research involves the use of both qualitative and quantitative methods to research entrepreneurship and human resource management.

 

PhD supervision

I am happy to supervise motivated PhD students to conduct quantitative and/or qualitative research in entrepreneurship, human resource management and the intersection of both - and also adjacent fields.

Career Details

Dr Huang has several years of work experience in the Chinese central government. Prior to Lancaster, Dr Huang worked at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School and Royal Holloway, University of London.

Dr Huang is currently Director of Lancaster China Management Centre. He has been Director of Lancaster University Confucius Institute and Head of Department, Institute for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (now Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strategy), Lancaster University Management School.
