Current Research

I am a senior research associate who works on research related to gender, sexualities and health inequalities. At the moment I am currently working primarily on an NIHR funded project led by Professor Elizabeth McDermott, regarding the best types of mental health support for LGBTQ+ young people (Queer Futures 2). I also continue research activity pertaining to my PhD specialism of contraception and reproductive rights.

Research Interests

I am primarily a qualitative researcher interested in sexualities, gender and sexual health including sexual pleasure. I value the use of creative methods in research, particularly visual methods and historical approaches including the use of life histories and archival research.
