I am a Research Associate in The Child and Family Justice Research Centre, working alongside Claire Mason on the Giving HOPE project: https://www.cfj-lancaster.org.uk/projects/giving-hope

 

I am the Founder/CEO of Project Lighthouse, a digital trauma-informed therapeutc support community for female survivors of domestic abuse and child removal: https://www.projectlighthouse.org.uk/

I bagan my career as a qualified nurse, working in intensive care and general practice before becoming a mother. 

Research Interests

My research interests are focused on domestic abuse, the family court and child removal, with particular interest in private law child arrangements proceedings.

What are the experiences of survivors of domestic abuse when an expert has been instructed in England and Wales private law child arrangements proceedings?
