Research overview

Most of my writing is long-form commercial fiction, primarily of the romance/romantic comedy genre, though my interests also include science fiction, fantasy and horror. My debut novel, WOULD LIKE TO MEET (Orion Publishing, 2020), is a romantic comedy that engages with and subverts tropes within the romantic comedy genre. My current work (provisionally titled ONE WAY OR ANOTHER) is a dual narrative romantic comedy with a queer protagonist. I have over ten years’ editorial and commissioning experience of both academic and commercial fiction publishing, working for Manchester University Press, HarperCollins, and – most recently – Hachette UK.
