Research overview

I'm currently simulating damage cascades due to radiation in high temperature superconductors with Dr. Samuel Murphy at Lancaster University's Engineering Department.

I recently completed my PhD, titled 'Remote Sensing the Dynamics of Outer Planet Magnetospheres Using Auroral Observations', under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Badman in the Space and Planetary Physics Group at Lancaster University's Physics Department. My particular focus was using the aurora for analysis of radial plasma transport dynamics in the Jovian magnetosphere. I'm still very much interested in this subject area and am most happy to be contacted about it!
