Research overview

My main research interest is broadly centered to the investigation of terahertz science and technology.

  • Active metamaterial devices such as amplitude, frequency and polarization modulators and detectors, for spectroscopic, imaging and communication applications.
  • 2D materials, e.g. graphene
  • THz quantum cascade lasers

A second research line investigates laser pyrolysis of materials for the green circular economy and hydrogen recovery.
