"Producing evidence in complex, dynamic organisational and use settings : the case of home telecare for older people"
The research will examine what forms of evidence are appropriate for analysing the significance of remote care for older people living at home and will include an in-depth 'user journey' analysis, following individuals' interaction with a new "re-designed" telecare service, whilst evaluating the experience of service users, carers and professionals. The study will also draw on recent insights in Science and Technology Studies and will examine the relationship between ageing, technology and care practice.
