Research overview

Dr Y. Jiang specialises in analysing, modelling, and optimising urban transportation systems. He has authored over 80 articles. He has supervised PhDs to earn the best student paper awards at prestigious international conferences. He is recipient of a prestigious grant Independent Research Fund Denmark.

PhD supervision

I am looking for students interested in applying operations research techniques to tackle urban transportation and logistics challenges and promote sustainable development. Talent students with ambitions to create fundamental methodological contributions and enjoy reading, mathematical modelling, coding, Star Wars are strongly encouraged to apply. CSC students will be considered subject to a mutually agreed study plan. Please contact me as early as possible due to the limited quota.
