I'm a PhD student in the Language Learning Lab at Lancaster University, supervised by Dr Aina Casaponsa and Professor Patrick Rebuschat. My research focuses on bilingual language control mechanism (e.g., inhibition, activation). Using behavioural and electroencephalographic (EEG) approach, I investigate how Mandarin-English bilinguals switch between their L1 and L2 and how the underlying cognitive mechanism promotes the adaptability in language processing.
