The paper titled: ‘Practices and Challenges of Using GitHub Copilot: An Empirical Study’ has won the Best Paper award at SEKE 2023 (1st out of 218 submissions). The research represents one of the pioneering studies to investigate the practices and challenges of GitHub Copilot as an AI pair programmer. An extended version of the paper was invited for submission as a collection of best papers from SEKE and published in IJSEKE 2023.
