Under the motto ‘Hunting for Excellence’, the foundation aims to contribute to the development of industry-relevant topics of the future.

The foundation has both an economic and scientific focus. It supports studies at leading international institutes in the fields of education, science and research in order to acquire expertise and deepen the respective specialised foreign language skills.

Purpose of the foundation

1. The purpose of the foundation is to promote the acquisition and improvement of foreign language skills for business and industrial purposes. Support is provided by awarding prizes for proven learning success and by awarding scholarships for language studies in Switzerland and abroad as well as for research in the field of didactic development of language courses.

2. The foundation also supports studies aimed at acquiring skills and deepening the respective specialised foreign language knowledge at leading international institutes in education, science and research.
