Prague, Capital of the Twentieth Century has been awarded a Special Mention in the F. X. Šalda Prize for 2014. This prize is awarded annually by the Institute for Czech Literature of Czech Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic, for exceptional contribution to artistic history or criticism. This is the first time a foreign-language book has been thus honored in 17 years of the award.
