Awarded with the following motivation: "For the monumental dimension of a work with a vivid, simple title, aimed at investigating an evolutionary strand of comics that can currently be considered as the most mature level of its expressive capacity, and carried out by the author by going back to the single historical roots of each of the components that then converge in determining its essence, all this with the perspective, intent and intention of producing a scientific study that is ideally definitive, although susceptible to future in-depth studies, thus configuring it in some way as an open work".
