The Sculptural Co-Production project is significant research aligning object-based making with socially engaged practice. It involves 3 phases: 8 creative playgroup sessions in Morecambe producing a series of collaborative sculptures; an exhibition of 5 artists exploring critical frameworks in co-production; and a symposium analysing the social impact of co-produced sculpture. Overall, the project situates Lancashire as a nexus point for communal making and democratic access to visual art.
