Bibliographic note

This paper challenged the existing misconception that exception handling is ""always"" successfully implemented and reused with aspects - a claim from an ICSE'00 paper by Crista Lopes, one of the AspectJ designers. Our study was published in a flagship conference with one of the highest impact factors amongst the SE conferences (1.88, Citeseer 2003). Acceptance rate in 2006 = 19%.
