N2 - Entrepreneurship is a major conduit for the shift to a circular economy, an accelerated pathway towards sustainability. Yet, circular entrepreneurs are often confronted with numerous unfavourable conditions in prevailing linear environments. Drawing on four UK circular-born start-ups, this paper examines how successful circular entrepreneurs create and exploit the opportunities through a bricolage lens. The findings show how circular entrepreneurs who engage in technological innovation and social innovation embrace different bricolage logics and behaviours to reconceptualise, recombine and develop resources to deliver values. We argue for a more nuanced understanding of bricolage by extending it to novel circular entrepreneurial action.
