In this concluding chapter of the book I would like to address several aims. First, I try to outline what this book indicates about the current status of corpus-assisted, -based or -driven discourse analysis. Second, I use some of the points made in each of the chapters as a springboard for further reflection, making links through to my own experiences. Finally, I make some suggestions regarding how this kind of reflexivity in corpus-based discourse analysis could continue in ways that I think would be both interesting and productive for the field and its members.
