Abstract

The paper describes a research project which seeks to develop a conceptual model of the process of product design evaluation. The paper presents a method for evaluating concept design proposals by means of quantifying the attributes, in user terms, that a particular product should possess. The work is based on current product design practice and a computer aided evaluation system tool is used to implement the evaluation methodology.
