Abstract

imitating the dog's 'Frankenstein' is a radical adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel. Adapted, written and directed by Andrew Quick, Pete Brooks and Simon Wainwright this touring version focuses on the themes of love, loss and responsibility as a story of a young couple deciding to go through with a pregnancy is entwined with Shelley's original narrative. Funded by Arts Council England and co-produced with Leeds Playhouse, 'Frankenstein' tours to seven middle scale venues across England and to Switzerland.
