Abstract

Case studies of five firms are investigated to build a framework of the factors necessary to promote proactive greening behaviours among supply chain employees. Semi-structured interviews of 24 employees reveal their greening behaviours (proactive versus compliance), motivations, sense of responsibility and supporting organizational factors.
