Abstract—A procedure for converting a 1D Lagrangian code for helical waveguide traveling wave tubes to a code for double corrugated waveguide traveling wave tubes is presented, as a way to expedite the design process for high power, high bandwidth, affordable double corrugated waveguide TWTs for amplification in the millimeter wave regime, to complement the established 3D particle in cell simulators such as CST and MAGIC3D
