OFF CUT is an experimental lightweight structure exploring the innovative re-use of waste materials - premium quality ash timber veneers and leather off cuts from Fritz Hansen’s production facility in Denmark. The project was supported by an award from The Bartlett Research Fund UCL.

The deployable spatial construct was designed, prefabricated in The Bartlett workshops and installed by Unit 7 led by Ming Chung and Nick Tyson. OFF CUT was exhibited at Fritz Hansen's flagship store in Fitzrovia from 14th to 22nd September 2013 for London Design Festival and the Icon Design Trail.
