Abstract

In the article entitled 'Police Accountability in the United States: Gaining Traction or Spinning Wheels?', Professor Carol Archbold addresses many of the obstacles facing police reformers in the USA; this commentary reflects upon two of the areas from a UK perspective: (1) the use of civilian arbiters of police misconduct and (2) the release of police misconduct data to the public.
