Abstract

This paper introduces a framework for designing self-organising wireless sensor networks for assisted living. The topology of these networks is studied and definition of self-organisation is given. Here, we propose paradigms and explain “local” and “global” network properties. In conclusion, the self-organised network function for the wireless health-care networks is designed. Simulation results are presented showing promising performance.
