These complexes were characterized using spectroscopic methods (nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared, and ultraviolet-visible-nean infrared), SQUID magnetometry, and X-ray crystallography, and density functional theory calculations are used to compare the U(V) methyl with the targeted U(V) carbene ligands.",
