Abstract

In contemporary debates about global governance, two perspectives are often used to analyse the relationship between corporations and global governance. The first focuses on inputs with corporations shaping the agendas of global governance institutions; the second on outputs, looking at the impact on corporations of institutional decisions. Here I propose a third perspective: that the global corporation can be considered as an institution of global governance itself.
