N2 - Introduction/Objective: To define and describe the composition, purpose and work of the Editorial Subgroup, thereby contributing in part to the achievement of Goal 3 of the Collaboration's Strategic Plan - the development of an efficient, transparent organisational structure and management system of the Cochrane Collaboration.Methods/Results: This poster will describe the following:the membership of the Editorial Subgroupthe relationship of the Editorial Subgroup to the Collaboration's Steering Groupthe core purpose of the Editorial Subgroupit's areas of responsibilitythe difference between the work of the Editorial Subgroup and the Cochrane Collaboration's Steering Group Publications Policy Subgroupthe current items on the Editorial Subgroup agendathe latest information on the developments of the Cochrane Collaboration Web Page.Discussion: Particular attention will be paid to the fulfilment of the following Objectives of the Cochrane Collaboration, as outlined in the Collaboration's Strategic Plan:3.2 To ensure that all decision making processes within the Collaboration are transparent and explicit3.3 To promote effective communication within the Cochrane Collaboration3.4 To promote effective communication with those outside the Cochrane Collaboration
