The Lancaster University Research Staff Association (RSA) is run by researchers for researchers. Its primary objectives are to represent Lancaster's research community at national conferences and on institutional committees, as well as organising training and networking events for research staff at Lancaster.

The Management Committee is made up of researchers from Lancaster, who guide the direction of the RSA, sit on various other institutional committees, and organise RSA events.
